RESTRICTIONS ON FUNERAL ATTENDEE'S - SEE DETAILS BELOW
Our company policy is to always ask for a disbursement payment within 7 days of the arrangement taking place, the cost of the disbursement payment are third party costs outside of our control and therefore is completely dependent on what service you require
After the funeral we send the Applicant an invoice, we allow 28 days for the invoice to be settled
if you don’t feel you can cover the costs in full we offer payment plans, you may also be entitled to financial support from the Department of Works and Pensions, your Local job center will be able to assist you with this, for further information please visit https://www.gov.uk/bereavement-payment
When losing a loved one, the last thing you want to think about is the financial obligation of funding a funeral.
As a family owned and run company, we understand how difficult it is to cover the cost of a funeral, and we know how overwhelming it can be, especially when your loved one didn’t have an insurance or a pre-paid funeral plan that would help towards costs, but we promise we will help guide you as much as we can.
Provisions made by the deceased
Your loved one may have already taken out a life insurance or pre paid funeral plan before they passed, if they have, these can cover either some or all of the cost of the funeral, to make it as simple as possible for you, we can invoice the company directly so they can make payment to us without any hassle for you
Help from the Government
The Department of Works and pensions have a Bereavement support payment for bereaved families who are finding it difficult to raise the funds, they individually assess the Next of kin and will make you aware of any grant you may be entitled to once the funeral has taken place, this is not a guaranteed payment, but if you would like to know more about this please call them on 0800 731 0469
We ask for a disbursement payment at least 7 days before the funeral takes place, this payment is for third party fee’s only, once the funeral has taken place, if you are finding it difficult to cover the cost of the outstanding invoice, we will try our best to arrange a suitable monthly plan with you
If there is an estate
Your funeral costs and expenses can be paid for you
Finding the money to pay for a funeral can be extremely
stressful and daunting, especially if the death is unexpected
or the deceased did not make any provision for their funeral
We want to offer as much support as possible through one of
the most difficult times.
