At Michael G Ryan Son and Daughter LTD we understand how important it is to include you’re loved ones faith in their service, when thinking about their faith you may consider whether a Church service is more appropriate or a service at the Crematorium or Graveside would be more fitting to your loved one, rest assured that a Priest or Minister of Faith can conduct a service at the Crematorium or Graveside if your loved one hadn’t practised their faith but still considered themselves a believer
Whichever faith you and your loved ones believe, we will always cater to your specific needs, order of service are bespoke and will be tailored to how you would like.

We will always cater to your specific needs, in the Catholic faith these can include the following traditions
A Full Funeral Mass (Requiem mass)
Viewing in our chapel of rest
Placing personal items such as rosaries Prior to the Funeral Service / Funeral Mass
We can arrange for your relative to be received into Church or your home for prayers the day prior to the service
We will assist the Church when required to drape the pall cloth over the coffin
We will assist with the committal of the body into the hands of God, whether this be at the time of burial or burial of cremated remains
We work with Anglican Churches on a regular basis and we can give you advice on the structure of the service as well as hymn choices, eulogies and family readings, although the minister will go through the service thoroughly with you before the service goes ahead, we understand how important it is to include all aspects of the faith, your belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, The Resurrection and ascension of Christ.

We understand that each individual faith have their own customs and traditions, we understand that faith is a matter between God and the individual whether that individual has been Baptized as an infant or an adult, your love and belief of God will be present and celebrated in the service, we will cater to your specific requests, we understand it’s important to include your belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit and humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ.
As Mike himself would class his faith as spiritual, we fully understand that your faith means that you believe Spirits not only exist but have the ability to communicate and connect with us, in the afterlife the spirit evolves but there is no static place, Generally, within the service, there is an opening prayer, an address, and the singing of hymns, however we can express the faith at the Funeral service in whichever way you feel is appropriate, and we can source a spiritual guide to conduct the service,
We have worked with Mosques in the Cardiff and Newport area, we understand it is custom for the funeral service to take place as soon as possible and therefore we offer same/next day burials where possible, we will convey your relative into the mosque swiftly for you to prepare the body ready for burial and be given time to pray before the funeral date
We have Directed many funerals for the Sikh community over the years in Cardiff and Newport, we understand your customs mean that our members of staff must have their head covered with a headscarf, any religious customs you have we welcome and will adapt to with dignity and respect.
We have worked with many families who practice the Hindu faith in Cardiff and Newport, we understand the funeral must take place as soon as possible and therefore we offer same/next day funerals where possible.
We understand it is custom for the family and friends to join together for prayers before the burial or cremation, we have a Chapel of rest available for you to use in both our Cardiff and Newport branch
